Whose country is Israel anyway?

Hi all,
Yes, I have another blog for you.
Yes, you read the title right. After all that has been happening in Israel lately I am wondering whose country it really belongs to.
We have an anthem called Hatikva, which means hope.
We have a flag which is the Star of David
We have the Hebrew language of the country
So, why am I asking that question.
Before I go on I would like to go to my beginning. The year before I made Aliya or came to live in my homeland I came to visit Israel. I never was here before then. I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and when I was a kid I loved it there and there were changes and began to not like it anymore and wanted to find a place that I could go to. I never thought it would be way over here in the Middle East. I would go to other States, but, did not find what I was looking for. The year before I came to live I visited and found exactly what I was looking for. I found I was free to be me and be able to be Jewish. That was 1985 and alot has changed since then. You are also probably thinking that was a visit. Yes, it was and a visit is different that going to live somewhere, I decided to come HOME in November of 1986. It was a very cold and very rainy day. I came by myself and didn't know a soul and yet here I am almost 27 years still here. I came HOME  to stay and not leave like I have seen so many people do. It is sad, but, they had to do what they had to do.
Now, after almost 27 years later and a Gulf War behind me and two intifadas behind me and other wars I am still here and here I am to stay, but, there are very bad problems here. We have governments that don't take care of all the people. We have Prime Ministers just doing what they want and are not listening to the people. I thought I came to live in a Jewish country, but, now I am questioning that. We are not allowed on The Temple Mount, which is a very holy place to us because the Arabs and our government say so. If one goes on it and lip sinks they think we are praying and are arrested. When we want to go into a place like Gaza because they are bombarding our citizens in the South with missiles we send them fliers, but, they use women and children for shields and know we would not shoot them on purpose. They just come in and set off bombs anywhere they want here and don't care who they kill. They have even killed their own. They do drive by shootings. They throw rocks that kill. They knife us, they use axes, they even use bull dozers and even if they are arrested they are let out with an exchange of maybe 3 of our people that were held hostage and they don't serve their full terms. They make their selves known when we will to expand our country by building and they win. We give them our land. So, do you see why I am asking whose country this is? Can someone tell me why we do not stand up to them and say this is our country and if we want to go on The Temple Mount we will. If we want to build we will. If we want to sit down with you then we will tell you what we want. I guess when one becomes Prime Minister they have so much pressure that they give up their beliefs and change into something that is not good.
I feel very sad and hope that before it is too late that our government will wake up and say, Wait a minute, this is our country and we are going to run it the way it should be run and not how the Arabs or the outside world wants us to do it.
