I went to a delightful event at The Israel Center building in Jerusalem on Tuesday night of last week. They made Aliya from the States 40 years ago. Wow, that is a long time. They came over on a boat. They were dressed in sailor suits. It was a fun night and there were so many people that came to help them celebrate. Menachem Persoff said a few words to introduce them and Rabbi and Mrs. Kahana spoke. There was entertainment as well. Someone played a clarinet and there was a pantimine.
So, let me ask you all where were you in 1972? I was at college and would be graduating the next year. So, I would like to hear from others as to where they were? We all know that Shulamit and Yehoshua were here in Israel helping to build the country.
