Anti-Semitism or hatred of Jews

I have been trying to write a blog for some time and just could not get it right so kept deleting them.
Now, I would like to discuss with you something that is dear to me. I made Aliya on November 11, 1986 and have been in the country for 26 years now. I know to some people I am still a baby, but, to others it is wow. To me, it doesn't matter how long you have been here, what matters is how one feels. I am sure everyone has experiences they would like to share. I wasn't here during the earlier wars, but, I made it to the first intifada. The 2nd one was horrible and I was working in a bookstore in Yad Vashem and the tourists stopped coming so we had to close. It was very traumatic because my boss was there a long time and I really liked my job. I am sure you are thinking someone liking their job at Yad Vashem. The view was so amazing and I met lots of people. Also, we had Holocaust things and met some in some of the postcards. That was really something. Saw people trying to prosletize there also and heard that a German had nerve to come to Yad Vashem and say all kinds of nasty things about us. The pope paid a visit when I was working there, but, I wasn't there that day. Now, Yad Vashem had a make over and it has changed since I worked there. Why did I mention Yad Vashem? I mentioned it because there are those saying the Holocaust never existed. So, tell me where did 6 million Jews go? Europe and the United States had quotas. Israel was trying to get as many Jews out as possible and our enemies, the British and the Arabs didn't want them here. So, tell me how did they disappear? I will tell you. Hitler had his plan wanting to destroy us all, but, he was interrupted and murdered as many as he could.
I was not forced to come to Israel, although, there was Anti-Semitism where I grew up. At one time Jews were not allowed into medical schools so Mount Sinai Hospital was built. My University started on Rosh Hashana or Yom Kippur and Jews made a big stink and they no longer did that.
Do people honestly know why they hate Jews? Do they really know anything about us?
We are human like others. We have our own beliefs and customs and people always want to try and take that away from us because they do not understand us at all.
So, all of you out there think for yourselves and quit listening to the wrong people and get to know who we are and not what you think we are. Hitler was wrong and so is Iran.
