NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone out there,
I would like to deal with a subject that is very important to me and important to alot of you out there.
We, here in Israel, just had our Remembrance Day for the Holocaust. Yesterday morning I started thinking of the words NEVER AGAIN. They are very powerful words. I am writing them because to me they mean something as I am a Jew and I also live in Israel. What would have happened if we had our own country before Hitler thought of rounding of Jews for his final solution, which didn't happen by the way?
I have read it and also I wonder, would we be safe from the hate that we suffer and could defend ourselves instead of being humiliated and being treated like we are nothing? I cannot go back in time, but, we can move forward now. There are those that want us to make peace with our enemy and just give them our land, which by the way we do not occupy it. There are those that walk around with blinders that forgot what happened when we did give land and especially in 2005 when Jews were kicked out of their homes just to please our enemy thinking that they want peace again. Now, they are waking up in 2013 and saying we made a mistake. They made a mistake. I knew it would be a disaster and now the people are suffering by getting rockets shot directly at them. How can someone live that way? How could Jews have lived the way they were made to live by being pushed into ghettoes and shoved on cattle cars taking them to their death or put in concentration camps till they either drop dead or are forced to die or at the last minute saved. People shouldn't have to live that way and we should never have to say the two words: NEVER AGAIN!!!!
We should be able to walk this earth or this ground freely and go wherever we want and not have to have an army that has to defend us against our enemies. Jews here should be able to live lives like others  do. We never ever said we don't want peace. Who wouldn't want peace and be able to live their lives without having to look over their shoulders to see if there is someone trying to kill them. We want a real peace so we can live along side others without wondering if they want to destroy us or not.
So, NEVER AGAIN for me means that if I tell someone I am a Jew that they will say that is nice and will not spit in my face or want to humilitate me, but, just say something like: "wow that is cool."
So, I would like to hear from you out there what NEVER AGAIN really means to you. E-mail me at: hanni@netvision.net.il
Thank you, till next time.
