Hello all,
I have been doing calendars for quite some time and deciding the themes I want to do for our Jewish New Year. I decided to bring this out to you and see how many of you that would like me to make you a calendar from the pictures I will be putting here or if you would like to order the calendar I made for the upcoming Jewish New Year from September 2017-2018.
Without further ado I have pictures and covers to show you and let you decide. If you do not like those and would like me to make a special calendar for you then please tell me what you would like me to make. I can also make personalized ones of your pets, family, special people in your life.
The following three pictures are from a calendar I made on What I felt Animals would say if they could talk. Here are two pictures I picked out to show you:
I chose those three pictures because I thought they were very cute.
I also did a calendar on the Zoo here in Jerusalem, I have putting the cover here so you can see some of the animals I used and Mr. Lemor is also there so you have met him already.
Here it is:
I have a couple of pictures I used for this calendar to share with you:
The next set will be a cover with some pictures and what is written underneath the picture to describe it. These are of Jerusalem:
Here are some pictures of Jerusalem:
This is Mt. Herzl.
This is Ben Yehuda Mall. It is a famous place that people love to go to to hang out or you can sit for hours and watch the people that pass by.
This is our train in Jerusalem. They are talking of expanding it to different areas.
Now, I would like to show you pictures of some landmarks you will see in Israel:
This is the Shuk or called Mahane Yehuda Market. It is a famous place not only for locals but tourists as well.
I also did a calendar on Psalms and picked out what places I felt fit the Psalm and here are some:
This is a Synagogue in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City in Jerusalem that was destroyed and rebuilt again and this is the Psalm I used for this one.
This is the Cave of the Patriachs where Abraham and Sara are buried in Hevron
This is Masada where the Jews decided to take their lives instead of being captured by our enemies.
Now, I would like for you to see the cover of the Temple calendar I did and some pictures I used for it:
This is what Sukkot looked like in the Temple time.
This is our holiday of Shavuot where the Torah was given to us and this is it in Temple time.
The last calendar I am going to show you is the cover and a few pictures of what the calendar will look like and you can see the calendar part also. You can see what I put on the calendars.
This calendar is for the 50th of Jerusalem from 1967 till now. The pictures you will see in them with a description of each picture is about them in 1967 and now. One side the picture is of 1967 and on the other side how it looks now.
This is the Kotel how it looked in 1967 and how it looks today.
This is Damascus Gate.
This is the Old City of Jerusalem.
Now, one more thing. I saved this for last because you can also use these people or choose from any of the pictures you have seen in this blog or anything you want to use for a cover for a notebook. The three figures I am using here I used for a Heroes calendar I did.
They are:
This is Menachem Begin.
This is Theodore Herzl
This is Raoul Wallenberg
Now, I know I have given you a mouthful here so look at the pictures carefully and think about what you would like to do. If you would like a calendar you will need to choose at least 14 pictures from this list or 14 of your own and tell me what you would like written on the cover page and if want something written underneath the pictures or blank. The way we can do this project together is by e-mail. I will give you my e-mail and you would have to communicate with me by e-mail. The total for the calendar and mailing it to someone outside of Israel is $30 and you can pay me by paypal. If buying it here the price is 70 shekels for the calendar. I would prefer a notebook the price in shekels is 40. and in dollars for the notebook alone is: $10. It is easy to mail the notebooks or calendars because I put them in mailing envelopes.
So, if you have any questions or want to order one of these then contact me at: hannihar@gmail.com.
Thank you very much for your time.
50th of Jerusalem calendar- 5% is donated to children of Sderot
The price in shekels: 70 and in dollars including shipping is $30.

Love
How many of you out there have really felt love for from someone else?
I felt love for my grandfather for 14 years and then when he died I felt so empty inside without him. He loved me unconditionally.
When I was growing up we had animals but no one really took responsibility for them so when I was married my ex brought home the sweetest puppy that he got on his route when he was a mailman. The dog was 2 months old. She was so small and so adorable. He gave her to me and she was my real responsibility and I loved her so much. I named her Carli which in Hebrew means I am cold and in winter I was cold. In Israel it is not only cold outside, but, cold inside until one finds some kind of heating system to keep warm. When my Carli got sick she could not be saved so had to put her to sleep. That after my grandfather was very hard for me. I was lucky that my ex also found a 13 week old tabby cat wandering in the street and brought her home to me. So, then I had two pets. They were not only pets, they were family to me. My cat was named by one of my ex's children and she was called Mitzi. When Carli died she was a comfort to me. I loved Mitzi with all my heart and at the age of 20, 4 months shy of her 21st birthday she died in her sleep. I was devastated and could not live without another pet again. So, at the end of November 2014, my cat Sophie came into my life. That is my story about love.
Now, I would like to hear from you about the loves in your life.
You can contact me at hannihar@gmail.com to make your comments or you can also make comments on my blog or on facebook underneath Hanni Harel.
Thank you very much,
Hanni
